Two reports by José de Emparan to the President of the Ayuntamiento of Veracruz. The first, dated June 25, 1846, concerns the General Assembly's decision to provide financial aid to government employees forced to emigrate by the American invasion. The second, dated October 10, 1846, deals with a request by the city of Veracruz for support and reinforcements. Accompanied by a circular from José J. Merrera to the Comandante del 3er. B. A. de Yucatan concerning an inspection of the troops.
